Pupil Premium Grant
The Pupil Premium grant is a source of funding made available to schools by the Government. This is a targeted funding to be used to provide opportunities for disadvantaged pupils.
The national trend is that pupils who are eligible for free school meals have lower achievement than those who are not eligible. The Pupil Premium grant is to be used to help narrow this gap.
At Orchard School, we believe that all pupils should be supported to achieve their potential. We are committed to using the resources made available to us to help achieve the best outcomes for all learners. Our achievement and progress data indicates that the school has been consistently successful in further narrowing the gaps between pupils. This thereby enhances the opportunities for all our pupils to set and achieve high expectations.
