End of Year Reports!

As we come to the end of this academic year, the end of year reports are being emailed out to all parents, together with the results of external Statutory Assessments. We know that these are incredibly detailed so here is a short guide to help.

Reception:

Our school reports show whether a child has 'met' or is 'working towards' the expected level of development in every aspect of the Early Learning Goals.

Year One:

Please note that Year One children will receive their Phonics Screening Check results separately.

These results will be shown as either 'Pass' or  'Working Towards Age Related Expectations'. The Pass Mark for this check was 32/40.

Year Two:

Year Two children's parents will receive a school report as well as a Lambeth document, detailing the end of year Teacher Assessment. This incorporates SATs scores and internal moderation processes.

Year 2 children will either be:

Working Towards the Expected Standard (WTS)

Expected Standard (EXS)

Greater Depth within the Standard (GDS)

Year 4:

Year 4 children's reports will include their score for the Statutory Multiplication Check. There was no pass mark for this check.

Year 6:

Parents will have already received the results and scaled scores of the Statutory Key Stage Two Assessments.

Mrs Ali is working on reports, and these will be emailed to parents before the start of the next academic year.

Special Educational Needs:

Please note that if your child has had Specialist Provision this year, you will be receiving additional end of year reports from the Specialist Teachers. These will be coming from the SENCO email address so please add this to your address book if you have not already done so.

Year Groups 1 to 6:

Our school reports offer detailed Class Teacher comments, plus comments for English, Mathematics and Science.

There are Effort Grades for all other subjects including Islamic Studies and Arabic (KS2 only).

These Effort Grades are as follows:

E = Excellent

G = Good

S = Satisfactory

NI = Needs Improvement

May we take this opportunity to say thank you and JazakAllah for your support this year.

We wish you all a wonderful summer break and look forward to welcoming you and your children back to school on the 5th of September, InshaAllah.

Please remember us all in your duas.
